Dioctyl terephthalate (DOTP) is a kind of main plasticizer with good performance for PVC plastics.Compared with the commonly used diisooctyl phthalate (DOP), it has the advantages of heat resistance, cold resistance, volatilization resistance, extraction resistance, softness and good electrical insulation performance, etc., and shows excellent durability, soap resistance, water resistance and low softness in the products.Due to its low volatility, DOTP can fully meet the requirements of temperature resistance grade of wire and cable, and can be widely used in cable material resistant to 70°C (IEC standard of the International Electrotechnical Commission) and other PVC soft products.In addition to a large number of cable materials, PVC plasticizer, DOTP can also be used in the production of artificial leather film.In addition, it is highly soluble and can also be used as a plasticizer for acrylonitrile derivatives, polyvinyl butyral, nitrile rubber, cellulose nitrate, etc.Can also be used in synthetic rubber plasticizer, coating additives, precision instrument lubricants, lubricant additives, can also be used as paper softener.
