Introduction:
Polyether polyol (polyether for short) is a kind of organic polymer, which is prepared by polymerization reaction of starting agent (compound containing active hydrogen group) with ethylene oxide (EO), propylene oxide (PO), ethylene oxide butane (BO) and so on in the presence of catalyst.
With glycerin (glycerin) as the starting agent and epoxide (generally PO and EO are used together), all kinds of general polyether polyols are produced by changing the feeding way of PO and EO (mixed or separately added), dosing ratio, feeding order and other conditions.
General Properties and Applications
POLYETHER POLYOL LEP-5631D is a 3,000 molecular weight polyether triol. It is used to produce flexible PU foam and mattress, etc.
Sampling Moisture access must be prevented when taking product samples.

Handling Precautions
Flash point of LEP-5631D exceeds 150 degree Celsius (close cup, ASTM D-93 method). The polyol is flammable but non-explosive. In case of fire, put the fire out with foams, dry powder, steam or water. In the handling of the polyol, precautions should be taken to avoid exposure to eyes or prolong contact with the skin. If eye contact occurs, flush with plenty of water. If skin contact occurs, wash exposed areas thoroughly with soap and water.
Storage
The polyol should be stored in sealed steel drum. Contact with air should be prevented.
LEP-5631D is slightly hygroscopic and may absorb moisture. Containers should be kept sealed and protected from contamination of moisture and foreign materials.
The shelf life of LEP-5631D is 12 months. After this period, pre-test should be made before us.
